  8.     You can't forget, that's why you won't forgive
  9.     That broken promise from my younger days....
  10.     Therefore you pledge, inside, all days I live,
  11.     Or long for life, must end in grief that pays --
  12.     To soothe your feelings -- for an endless hurt....
  13.     Now you play all my heartstrings, brief and curt.

  15.     Although you deem me shallow, I drown deep,
  16.     In my own tears, whenever night times start --
  17.     In my dreams, dear, tears deluge, as I sleep,
  18.     The pure containers of your soul and heart.
  19.     So, since you won't forgive, please grant me this:
  20.     Let me adore you; change your hurt to bliss....
